Great Training in Bend

Just back back from a quick trip to Bend - where I went to help out with the running of a no-gi tournament (the High Desert Championships).

I had the good fortune to train with Roy Dean at his academy. Great stuff ... a really enjoyable experience. Roy presents Jiu Jitsu in his own unique style ... very cool stuff.

Roy has been in Bend for just over two years. He is definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. Great game. Positive environment. Super vibe. He definitely brings a refined dimension to the sport of Jiu Jitsu.

I hope to train with him more in the future ... he is always welcome on the mat.
